"Mousse is forgiving, but only if your skin is ready for it. Exfoliate the day before, then moisturise your elbows, knees, ankles and hands just before you apply, because dry patches grab more colour. Use a mitt and work in circles, one section at a time, and blend whatever's left on the mitt over your hands and feet rather than adding more. If you're trying an express formula for the first time, rinse at the shortest time on the pack and build from there."
