What is Mandelic Acid?
Mandelic Acid is naturally derived from bitter almonds and is an Alpha Hydroxy Acid (AHA). This means that it is water-soluble and can be neutralised if necessary with a splash of water. It has a large molecular structure and therefore is one of the gentler AHA's in the industry. It is a multi-tasking acid best known for helping to clear acne, improve skin texture, fade pigmentation and smooth fine lines and wrinkles.
