What Is Nano Plasma?

Are you suffering with lumps, bumps or tags on your face or body? You might not be sure what they are, your GP might not be able to treat them, or the waiting list may simply be too long. Unsightly skin blemishes such as skin tags, warts and other lumps and bumps are very common and come in all shapes and sizes. Thankfully, at Face the Future, we are on hand to help you, using our Nano Plasma treatment.

What is Nano plasma?

Nano Plasma is the latest evolution of plasma devices, initially created by the worldwide "Plasma Guru", Professor Giorgio Fippi. This new plasma device combines existing and new technology to bring you the most innovative and advanced Plasma device in the aesthetics market to date.

The Nano Plasma has been created to generate 2 types of plasma - Cathodic (negative) and Anodic (positive) Plasma. The device emits alternating currents ionising the gases in the air and producing nano plasma. The device works by utilising electrons, protons and plasma to promote the sublimation of the skin and giving an extremely precise treatment. Cathodic plasma has an almost antibiotic effect, which fights anaerobic germs and also acts as a temporary vasoconstrictor, which eliminates edema (swelling) during the procedure and reduces erythema (redness/inflammation) after the treatment.

How does Nano Plasma work?

Nano Plasma is a non-ablative treatment that uses a fine probe that discharges an energy current, which works to immediately reduce lumps and bumps, turning them into an instant scab and killing off any viruses present. The treatment feels a little uncomfortable, but is short lived.

Is there any downtime after the Nano Plasma treatment?

After treatment there will be an instant scab to protect and help against infection. In order to achieve the best results, the following points must be adhered to:

  • No bathing for 24 hours
  • No exercise for 24 hours
  • No heat treatments for 24 hours (saunas, steam room, direct sunlight)
  • And definitely NO PICKING!

Who is the treatment for?

Nano Plasma can be used to treat many different skin concerns, but is most successful in treating:

  • Verrucas
  • Warts
  • Moles
  • Skin tags
  • Xanthelasma
  • Acne
  • Fibromas
